Our objectives today are to:

  • promote the interests of property bankers
  • foster a better understanding of property finance within the banking and property sectors
  • provide a recognised body as a forum for discussions between lenders and other property industry institutions
  • keep our members up to date with events in the market
  • provide relevant networking opportunities

On a day to day basis, the APB is managed by a Board of annually elected members, chaired by a President.

Amongst other things, the Board organises regular seminars and social events and represents the APB in the wider property market via regular contact with organisations such as the BPF, IPF, IPD and ODPM. We also have a seat at the Bank of England Property Forum.

Our membership continues to grow and we now have more than 300 members representing a wide range of UK and overseas banks, building societies and other property lending institutions.

To be eligible for membership you must be actively involved in property lending.

We look forward to welcoming you to the APB
