A survey of the banking sector looking at how the banks are coping with 'problem loans' and the issues affecting the commercial property sector.

'All banks are approaching problem loans on a case-by-case basis with the majority aiming to avoid calling in loans at present. The factors considered when evaluating individual cases are the ability to service the loan, the strength of the borrower’s overall financial position and the size of the exposure.'
